Project description
The comunne is looking for European partners for a Town Twinning project.
This project aims to create a twinning relationship that contribute to the consolidation of active European citizenship by creating links between citizens, promoting European unity. The project will allow participants to experience the daily life of others, debating and discussing issues of common interest: agriculture rural development, culture and tradition that will help communities involved to develop. It is desired that these activities involve students.

Any city with a population between 4,000 and 8,000 inhabitants.
Organisation presentation
The Commune of Cîmpineanca is suburban of the county residence of Focsani. Its population consists of about 5,000 people, with the occupation of viticulture, livestock and services in public institutions in the city Focsani. In economic terms the municipality have 5 combo of wine production, numerous wine cellar in households, agricultural associations plant growing field and a total of over 1,000 sheep.
The village is mentioned in documents from the time of Stefan cel Mare, the Milcov River passes through its center, which was a border between Moldova and Muntenia.
In the last years, in our commune, were implemented the following projects with EU funds:
- Rehabilitation and modernization of school, 1 Million Euro
- Rehabilitation of water supply system and sewerage system establishment, 4.3 Millions Euro
- Improve services offered to the population
- 700 ha arable land
- Artistic Ensemble dances crown
- Sports activities (football team Unirea Cimpineanca)
