The aim of the project is to bring citizens closer together and closer to the European construction through town twinning initiatives
Specific objectives:
- Active participation at European level, promoting mutual understanding and tolerance by respecting and promoting cultural and linguistic diversity, promoting intercultural dialogue
- Facilitating the exchange of experiences, culture, opinions and values
- Allowing citizens to discover the benefits of the European citizenship
- Promoting democracy, European achievements, history and culture
- Developing opportunities for solidarity, societal engagement and volunteering at Union level

- folk music concerts
- dances
- cooking contests
- artistic creations contests
- prezentation of small local artisans
- sightseeing
- workshops of specific themes: agriculture, pomiculture, fight unemployment through traditional krafts, touristic development, education

Organisation presentation
Tigveni village is situated in the northwest area of Argeș county, 50 km from Pitești city and 12 km west of Curtea de Argeș town. It is situated in the Carpathian Făgăraș mountains, near Topolog river. Tigveni village has an area of 4930 ha consisting of eight villages and a total of 3344 inhabitants.
